Inspired by a thread in rahmbamarama over on LJ, which in turn was inspired by a fantastically awesome photo [link] of Brian Williams. -g-
Anyway, the object is to scribble liberal punditry as Roaring 20's-style press peeps. So I've started with Rachel Maddow. I was srsly going to put Keith O in next to her, but she stands alone much bettah. Tidbits: Rachel has an Eversharp Pencil [link] behind her ear. She also is a hobbyist bartender and likes to make old-school cocktails. So. Hat tip to that.  Her vest is designed off of a late 1920's mens' waistcoat that Sears & Roebuck offered in their catalogue at the time. Her glasses are also period-appropriate, because I'm feeling anal-retentive, heh. xP Full-view to read the newspaper, lololol. ETA: Minor edit- her paper has a name, yay! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
